The Dreaded Plateau...

So, I always hate this stage of dieting because it's so disappointing to not lose any weight.

The first couple weeks of this program, it seemed like I was losing a pound a day and I was so excited to reach my weight loss goal. However, to past couple of weeks, it seems like I am just staying the same! I lose a couple ounces, then gain it back the next day. Lose. Gain.

So frustrating! I try switching up my snacks and my workouts, but nothing seems to do it.

Any suggestions?

  1. i start each morning out with a cup of hot water with 1/2 lemon squeezed in it. you can sweeten with truvia. that gets your metabolism going. also dont eat any fruits after 2. try to eat two servings of pro-biotics each day, like greek yogurt, kefir etc. maybe those will help.

  2. No fruits after 2? Interesting, I've never heard that one! Thanks, I will try out these tips and let you know how it goes. I am especially interested in the hot water with lemon.
