DAILY POINTS (150 points for perfect day):
- 45 points for healthy meals. You earn 15 points per meal for eating 3 HEALTHY meals.
- 20 points for healthy snacks. You earn 10 points per snack for eating 2 healthy snacks in between your meals.
- 30 points for daily exercise. You earn your exercise points by doing some form of exercise for 20 minutes per day. (Exercise must raise your heartbeat and increase your breathing - i.e. can carry on a conversation, but can't sing a song).
- 15 points for daily water. You earn your water points by drinking 100 oz. per day. This is all or nothing.
- 15 points for sleep. You earn your sleep points by sleeping a minimum of seven hours a night (or at least being in bed, trying to sleep).
- 20 points for habits. You earn 10 points a day for practicing one healthy new habit (must be measurable, meaning you know definitely that you have or have not done it for the day) and another 10 points a day for eliminating one unhealthy old habit (again must also be measurable).
- 5 points for communication. You earn your communication points by being in contact with at least one opponent each day. Posting on the blog counts. Phone calls, emails and text messages also count.
WEEKLY BONUS POINTS:
- 5 bonus points for On Time Reporting. Add 5 points for reporting your score to the blog by noon on fridays.
- 10 bonus points for Weight. Add 10 points at the end of the week if your weight either stayed the same or decreased.
END BONUS POINTS:
- 150 bonus points for Best Weight Loss. The player with the most percentage lost at the end of the eight weeks will receive a 150 point bonus.
- 100 bonus points for 2nd Best Weight Loss. The player with the second most percentage lost at the end of the eight weeks will receive a 100 point bonus.
- 50 bonus points for 3rd Best Weight Loss. The player with the third most percentage lost at the end of the eight weeks will receive a 50 point bonus.
FREEBIES/OOPSIES:
- Free Meals!! You are allowed a free meal of each kind (one breakfast, one lunch, one dinner and the two snacks) a week. These can be separated into different days or used all on the same day. You are allowed to eat or drink anything you desire.
- Free Dinner! Besides the free meals you are also allowed an additional free dinner. Use it wisely.
- One Free Exercise. You are allowed one day of no exercise with no penalty.
- One Free Water Day. You are allowed one day of not drinking the full 100 oz. of water with no penalty.
- One Free Sleep Day. You are allowed one day of not getting your 7 hours of sleep with no penalty.
- One 'Oops' Habit. You are allowed one mess up a week on your two habits with out penalty.
- All or Nothing Option. In lieu of individually taking off the above listesd items you can have one day where you have the entire day to do/eat what you want. If you choose this option all your 'freebies' are used up in this one day (besides the additional free dinner).
PENALTIES:
- Snacking penalty. Deduct 10 points for each eating of a unhealthy (fried, sugary, fatty) snack.
- Scale penalty. Deduct 1 point each time you weigh yourself more than one time a day.
- Cheating penalty. Deduct 20 points if you suggest cheating in the game (i.e. "I will not drink my water if you don't drink your water and then when we both lose our points, it will balance out.")
- Change of habit. Deduct 50 points if you decide your habit is too hard and you change it mid-game.
- Alcohol penalty. Deduct 10 points for any alcohol consumption past the one glass of wine minimum.
ADDITIONAL INFO
- Free Meals Off only last for 1.5 hours total of eating enjoyment. After that freedom is over!
- Get full communication points when on vacation, no need to blog or communicate.
- You are allowed a free 100 calorie snack each day.
- You are allowed one glass of wine each day.
